Bringing Gower Home

Yesterday was an amazing day out on the Gower delivering Bringing Gower Home. Eleven participants linked to the WCADA organisation spent their time out at Reynoldston and Cefn Bryn and the results were incredible.

My workshop gave a series of activities to participants in order for them to experience the natural landscape, historical Gower, the sea, and the people who live on this beautiful peninsula. The whole project experience is focused upon developing participants’ life skills; particularly self-esteem.

Some of the participants had only limited experience with the camera and it was exciting to see the group develop their skills as well as enjoying their time in this beautiful space. These images are a wonderful memento of the day and of an impressive standard given the experience of the participants. You can read more about Bringing Gower Home here.

I am organising, delivering, and supporting this project in collaboration with Gower Landscape Partnership (GLP) which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Natural Resources Wales, City and County of Swansea, and National Trust.
