I’ve been down to the Creative Bubble in Swansea today getting some fresh ideas. I’m not proud or secretive about my methods and I find it’s actually quite useful to sound out what I’m trying to achieve.
The Creative Bubble provides a public platform in which to explore different artistic viewpoints and it’s great to talk to fellow artists and members of the public about my ideas.
I’ve always thought any completed artwork for the Structured Chaos series should be framed but after talking to people today I have ideas on how to create and display an exploded version of one of the pieces.
Each piece consists of multiple layers of hand cut paper held together with paper fastners. There’s a lot of work involved in creating an artwork and it’s good to consider illustrating this process in a more innovative way.
On August 14th-15th I’ll be a guest artist at the Bubble and exploring further. More details on that nearer the time.
