Today I was going to write about the artdeco elephants that are above the bookies on the High St. I had a photo lined up and everything. But then I noticed this and my brain wandered.
This is a common theme with us artists. We see things differently. We notice the stuff that other people take for granted. There are little things above and below which we choose to see which the rest of the world passes by without a care.
We pause for shapes and forms. We linger to reflect on behaviours and distractions. We indulge in elephants and shadows.
