Sunsets round here happen every day much the same as any other part of the world. They’re not special, they just happen. This is how it has been for… well, forever?
But somehow the sunsets over the Welsh coast are some of the most romantic and vivid on the planet. Every time I find myself looking at a skyline like this it takes my breath away. Tonight I didn’t realise I was cycling into the last light until I stepped out of my front door. The rest of the journey was spent pedalling as fast as I could just to see exactly how spectacular it would be at this point.
I nearly missed it. No big deal if I had. There’ll be another one just as good tomorrow evening.
