What a difference a day makes. I’ve managed to tackle my gluing issues and I reckon I might just have got this problem sorted. I’ve also still got the problem of getting Helen to stand unassisted. The thickness of the acrylic sheets means she stands pretty well but I don’t want there to be any risk of her falling over if she ends up displayed in a gallery with a wobbly floor.
These practicalities are not the sexy side of the art world but they are things that still need to be addressed. It isn’t all floaty light philosophy and pseudo psychology. Sometimes it’s just me in my kitchen wrestling with a syringe full of glue.
