I’m reaching crunch time with this yellow ribbon. By tomorrow I should be at a stage where I can be putting the final details on it to give it the depth and the substance I want. I still have weeks of work left on this art and I’m running out of time. I really want it to be complete and framed in time for a trip to New York that I have planned for the start of September. That’s only 5 weeks away now.
I have to push on and stay disciplined to make this happen. Usually I have art finished months before a show and yes, I could leave this piece out of the collection. The trouble is that I like to set myself these little challenges and I know Modern Love belongs in New York. It is entirely possible to finish this before September so why not just dig deep and push on with the job in hand?
Tomorrow might never come. Grab the opportunity. Challenge everything.
