Procrastination and work avoidance can be a healthy thing. For example, I’ve been avoiding sorting my tax return today. I’ve had a lovely day seeing my osteopath, getting some source images printed up, getting supplies from the local store, buying a new card reader from the camera store, having breakfast with a friend, and 101 other things that would normally never get done.
The success of having done all these other jobs had made me feel confident and pleased with myself. So pleased in fact, that I’ve just tackled the one thing I was avoiding (the tax return) and still have most of the day left to make some new work.
I’ll just have a little break first and have a good long thought about how I’m going to tackle my next clone. I don’t want to overdo it now do I?
